By law, all restaurants in the United States and Canada must have their kitchen exhaust systems cleaned on a regular schedule. Grease build up inside of a commercial kitchen exhaust system must be removed to prevent fires. If upon inspection, the exhaust system is found to be contaminated with deposits from grease-laden vapors, the contaminated portions of the exhaust system shall be cleaned by a properly trained, qualified, and certified person(s) acceptable to the authority having jurisdictions (NFPT 11.6.1.1).

Hood filters should be cleaned 1-2 times per week to maintain the efficiency and cleanliness of the exhaust system. This regular maintenance is typically performed by restaurant staff.

Service contracts offer you an opportunity to have regularly scheduled preventive maintenance which makes your system run more efficiently. Customers who sign a 12 month Service Agreement will get a discounted rate for each cleaning following the initial service.
